Choose a scene from Macbeth and recreate it using the sketchnote technique!
MY SKETCHNOTE:
For this activity, I got act one of Macbeth. This act had seven scenes, so on my sketchnote, I separated each scene in a little bubble. My sketchnote starts with the three witches who meet up on a stormy night then disappear. Next, King Duncan talks to the captain and a scottish nobleman who say the thane of cawdor was defeated and that Macbeth and Banquo fought with courage and violence. The King then said that Macbeth shall be the thane of cawdor. Next, Macbeth and Banquo meet the three witches who prophesies these things about them, except Macbeth is in disbelief. Later, Ross comes to tell Macbeth of his new position and Macbeth invites King Duncan over to his castle for a dinner. Back in his castle, Lady Macbeth receives a letter from Macbeth explaining the situation. She then has her famous "unsex me here" soliloquy and decides to have Macbeth kill Duncan. When Duncan arrives at the castle, Lady Macbeth treats him with warmth and hospitality. Later, she influences Macbeth to agree to her plan. Macbeth has doubts however, because killing is a sin and the King is well admired by all. After Lady Macbeth questions his manhood, he gives in and agrees.
